Good governance is how a charity keeps its promises. This page sets out how we are structured, who is accountable, and where you can raise a concern.
Legal status
Our legal form and registration details are being confirmed and will be published here and in the footer of every page.
Trustees
Our trustees are responsible for the charity's strategy, finances and compliance, and for ensuring it acts within its objects.
Financial accountability
We keep restricted funds separate from unrestricted funds and use them only for the purpose they were given for. Our reports and accounts will be published as they become available.
Safeguarding
We have a duty of care to everyone we work with, especially children and adults at risk. Safeguarding concerns are taken seriously and acted on.
Conflicts of interest
Trustees and staff declare interests that could affect their judgement, and withdraw from decisions where a conflict exists.
Risk management
We identify the risks to our beneficiaries, our people and our funds, and we review them regularly rather than annually by ritual.
Complaints and whistleblowing
Anyone can complain about our work, and anyone can raise a concern in confidence. Neither will be held against you.

We handle personal information carefully and fundraise honestly. Our privacy notice and fundraising promise set out what that means in practice.
